Sharon  Karin  Rachelle   Narae   Le-Ann

Le-Ann Elgie, M.A., CPDT-KA, CMT, is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed, by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and she is a Certified Canine Massage Therapist (CMT,) having successfully completed a 100 hour prescribed course in canine massage through the Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage.

Over the past several years, Le-Ann has provided puppy training including manners and basic obedience, pre-performance puppy training, agility foundation and beginning agility in Napa and Solano counties.

Le-Ann also manufactures custom PVC practice agility equipment.

Le-Ann owns border collies and boston terriers and all of her dogs train with Sharon Freilich at Freilance Dog Sports. Le-Ann is currently competing in USDAA agility.

Le-Ann’s dog training philosophy:

  1. behavior which is reinforced correctly and consistently will increase
  2. break all training into small, sequential, successful steps
  3. do all training in short, positive, fun sessions
  4. practice your weaknesses so that they become your strengths
  5. think outside the box when presented with individualized challenges
  6. write it all down!

High octane Fynn got his first agility title by the age of 23 months. He actively competes in USDAA agility.

Dakota

Dakota is thriving and is currently competing in USDAA agility.

Robson

A rescue from a Canadian puppymill, Robson was Le-Ann’s first agility dog. He has competed in multiple agility venues and titled in NADAC; he plans to join Fynn and Dakota in USDAA soon.

  • A rescue found dumped in a field with his littermates in Visalia, Dash has some novice agility legs. Dash is currently retraining some challenges.
